In 2007 a modern brewery with a capacity of 20.000 HL beer was built in Freeport, Bahamas.

Brewtech GmbH was the turn-key supplier for the entire equipment. The building design and general concept was also developed by Brewtech’s knowledge. In November 2007 production commenced with a delicious Lager beer, called “SANDS”, whereas a fine Malta drink “Triple B” and a great Stout “Strong Back” was launched in 2008. A “Sands Light” followed in June 2009. The recipies of all products were developed by Brewtech GmbH.

The products are available in glass bottles as well as in cans.
The strong demand of “SANDS” in the first 9 month forced management to decide an early extension. The fermentation and storage capacity was extended by 60% whereas cooling and filtration capacity was doubled.
